Bago Full Day Tour

bago-06Pick up from Hotel by our guide, drive to Bago, on the way visit the Htauk Kyant war memorial cemetery compound in which 27000 stone graves of common wealth and allied forces fallen solders in the Myanmar campaign were honorably kept. Visit Kyaikkawein monastery where around thousands of month learning Bhuddhist Dhamma continue the tour in Bago with, visit to ShweMawDaw  pagoda, the tallest pagoda in Myanmar with a height of 114 meters; the imposing Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayintnaung ( 1551-1581 AD ). Continue your tour with Kyaikpun four gigantic Buddha images all sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of the compass. End your tour with shopping along the stairways of Shwetharlyaung reclining Buddha image and visit Kalyani Sima. On the way back to Yangon, You can stop off at the Karzine village to buy traditional medicine products made of preserved scorpion ,displayed in jars and bottles of various sizes. Then drive back to  Yangon and transfer to hotel.

Yangon Hlawkar  Full Day Tour

hlawkar-parkPick up from Hotel by our guide. Hlawga Park lies just 45 minutes drive from Yangon. It is inhabited by more than 70 species of herbivorous animals and 90 species of birds. Easily accessible, Hlawga Park is an ideal place of interest for bird-watchers! It consists of a ‘mini-zoo’ with monkeys, bears, birds, cats, crocodiles, snakes ,elephants and deer in enclosures; as well as a larger safari-type park  .Five-minute elephant rides are possible for 1000 kyat ( If you would like to ride - It’s your own budget ). There are also plenty of places to buy food to feed the animals, several picnic sites and a restaurant and coffee shop on the grounds.The idea being to relax among the lake-dotted natural scenery for a day, possibly with a keg of beer. Then transfer back to Hotel .

Yangon – Moe Yun Gyi Wetland Day Tour (  Best season to visit is from November to February )

moe-yun-gyi-wetlandPick up from Hotel by our guide and go to Moe yungyi Wetland Wildlife sanctuary, located between Bago and Waw townships in Bago Division, 3 hours drive from Yangon. 40 square-mile sanctuary is a favorite of bird watchers. Visitors can see the habitat of thousands of birds, including more than  70 species of of water fowl by boat. They are Sarus Crane, Little Grebe, Asian Open-Bill, Ruddy Shelduck, Grey Heron Purple, Great Cormorant, Swamp hen, Spot-Billed pelican, Purple Heron, Pheasant Tailed Jacana and Black Winged Stilt. Every year, thousands of birds usually fly from the north to the south along the East Asian flyway to escape from winter. So Moeyungyi Wetland is one of the best places for these birds to rest and feed in Asia.

Thanlyin Full Day

thalyinPick up from Hotel by our guide, drive to Thanlyin ( Syriam / 55 KM / 1 hour drive ) .The city used to be the Portuguese colonial during the 16th century and famous sea port in the region. En route, you will get to see lotus covered lakes and small wooden houses in traditional village style. Visit Kyaikkaut pagoda then observe the Kyauk Tan Yele pagoda, situated in the middle of the river. You can enjoy feeding the huge catfish around the pagoda. Next Must stop see is an old Portuguese Church built during 18th century, the Sacred Heart Church dated 1870 by a French missionary. Return to Yangon for late lunch.

Visit Bogyoke market formerly "Scott market", where you can get a wide range of Myanmar handicraft, jewelries, fabrics, lacquer wares and so on. After that visit the hustling and bustling Chinese market in dwontown and Chinese Guanyun temple. Evening Visit to the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, the massive bell-shaped golden spire covered with 60 tons of gold plates. Enshrined with the Lord Buddha's eight hairs relic, built over 2500 years ago. The most highlight and the holiest site in Myanmar. Then transfer back to hotel.

Thanlyin – Dala

dalaPick up from Hotel by our guide and visit Thanlyin - an important Burmese trading center whilst still a colony of the Portuguese during the 16th century. It used to be known as Syriam, a historical major port. It was and still is a strategic oil refinery and industrial zone. Visit the interesting Kyauktan Yele Pagoda (middle stream) temple, set on a tiny island in the middle of the river, and then explore 2 more pagodas. Feed the river fishes with grounded wheat and corn balls which is purchased from the local peddlers. Be astonished by their enormous sizes. Also experience the riverside market before taking a drive along the longest bridge back to Yangon. After lunch at local restaurant,  observe  a local jetty to witness the daily life of the local people in the Yangon's River and Leave for Dala City (on the other side of Yangon river) by ferry where visiting the local monastery schools for orphans. Then transfer back to hotel.
